Coming from a standard 3.1 sound bar set up i upgraded to the sony a9. I didnt think it was worth the upgrade, I missed the center speaker and while it does "surround" you with sound it didnt have the clarity and power that you might be expecting. I ended up returning it and just went back to my old set up til I can afford a classic setup.

Not the best all depends upon were you live in the world. I like SVS Subwoofer but my speakers are from the UK. And the AVR from Japan.

I do not need super loud. Since it only a 10×10 Room. But Super Clean and Clear is where it at for me. And I need to be able to hear and understand Dialogue as well. Im not sure if Actors can not speak anymore or Studios are messing with Dialogue sound. But I need something to Combat that!
Isn’t the Klipsch technically a 7.1 system if you count the two up firing speakers that are housed inside of the two front speakers? It looks like there’s two sets of speaker wires going to it 2:24, which means you’ll need a 7.1 AVR for it to work.

I have 4 of the Kipsch bookshelves as main speakers, and they sound great on my converted 7 plus 1 bedroom stereo. It also has a centre channel, 10 inch sub and surround speakers that are Onkyo, and a Kenwood amp. It has great sound.
