  1. Thank you so much ! Now i understand how they work. I am planning to buy one , thanks for tge infos!

  2. Great video! This kind of air purifier is still very good to use. I bought a renhotecic brand purifier at the time, and it felt very good to use. If you need it, you can prepare one.

  3. Can anyone please tell me if Air Purifiers alter the air pressure in room? Ever since I switched the Levoit 300s I feel like my EARS getting blocked as in an airplane. Any of you having this feeling or it maybe a coincidence that my ears clogged for some reason at the very same moment?

Second question is that on the medium speed the device has like a very low whistling like sound. Not on low or high. I hear it only on medium fan speed. Its hard to describe this sound but its like a plane engine but on a low volume.

    Please help!

  4. Air purifiers using UV light have no substantiated claims. Testing is done in very small chambers that are not applicable to real world scenarios. Air purifiers using bi-polar ionization technology are also unsubstantiated and possibly product harmful products. The biggest concern with this technology is the possible byproducts produced in the process, such as ozone. Also, just to note… if you read under the video, there is disclosure pertaining to commissions earned from this video. At the of the, true HEPA filtration is the tried and true best option for air purifiers. To better improve your indoor air quality, ensure proper ventilation, choose low VOC products, and keep home free of dust and clutter. Maintaining a level of RH of 45-50% is also suggested.

  5. Nice info! I want to invent mega air purifiers for gas chamber cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore!

  6. Thank you so much for this video, very well explained, easy to understand. I was wondering if you have a suggestion for which type of air filter to use in a home with big fluffy dogs?! I’m guessing HEPA might be the best?!
Thank you for your time! β™₯️β™₯️

  7. Where can I buy a good one at Like Home Depot or Lowe’s I cannot afford note 2000 3000 $100 what I can afford where can I buy something like that at I live in Texas Home Depot or Lowe’s thank you God bless

  8. Hi, i am very allergic, especially tree pollen alergy. Can you advice me which type of filter is recommend? I think Hepa filrer is best solution for my conditions

  9. My Levoit hepa filter seems to be blowing air now now sucking it. When I first got it it was perfect, no idea what’s up with it. Freshly changed filter too.

  10. Hi, may I know if we can add aromatherapy oil to usb car air purifier? (water + the oil) I bought the product and the oil from a local store recently but now have some doubts.

Secondly, does air purifier have mist coming out?

  11. I have sanded the walls from the apartment and dust particles are circulating in the air. Which filter would be best?

  12. I am not crazy about ionizers as they may possibly be unhealthy for people. I don’t think UV lights are super important either. I would say HEPA filtration is the way to go currently and I own 2 Austin Air Healthmates, 1 IQAir HealthPro Plus, 1 Aeris 3 in 1, 1 Aeris Lite, 1 Winix 5500-2 and an IQAir Atem. All of them have HEPA filters and most all the units I’ve sold to customers also have HEPA filters, as well, so I’d recommend people to go in that direction. πŸ‘

  13. *The two units I purchased work great. **Fastly.Cool** and air purifier perfectly this machine The filters are definitely collecting dust! I contacted Levoit directly for a minor issue, and received exceptional customer service!*

  14. 1) hepa filters are the shit
    2) UV lights really do not work well in the vast majority of these air filtration devices…. the UV is not powerful enough, and the half second that whatever pathogen is exposed to it is a very asmall fraction of the time it would take to ACTUALLY kill the pathogens
    3) Carbon filters do work, however, in most cases of these air filter devices there is not enough of the activated carbon. It takes POUNDS of the activated carbon in order for it to have an effect. This can be done, but the majority of the time where you see carbon filters included in a air purification system where the entire unit weights 10 pounds (if that!)…. its good for very little.

Just go for the systems with a true hepa filter – keep it simple – these are really the way to go

  15. If you’ve never used an air filter these are great. https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugkx_dppjvjF8BYEmPSDTcgCUdRsgWYLXNHN I ended up with three after starting out with one. The noise level depends on the 1-3 settings with how hard you want the machine to work. You can also upgrade the filters and get one better for pet hair and smells which is a must have in my home. I noticed the air seemed lighter and easier to breathe when running the machine for the first time. Works great every time. Highly recommended!

  16. Uv light create radioactive particles if you think about it. I think we need to cope with bad air so the immune system can handle the environment. Maybe try avoiding smoking and drying clothes in the home. Ventilation is important but if your outdoor environment is toxic I suppose air purifiers could help. I think you need to make vent purifiers, so replace traditional air vents to the purifier. I’m still not sure on uv because what if dust is lying still being hit by uv for months and then it gets moved. Risky. Maybe water purifiers are better although I’m thinking you’d only end up with more water vapour in the air, like when you dry clothes indoors.

  17. The man I am seeing is allergic to pets. I have a standard poodle. The poodle isn’t going anywhere. I purchased the Levoit and I hope this will bring him some relief when he comes over. I just got it for the living room because my dog is not allowed in the bedroom.

  18. My neighbors smoke a lot and ventilaton system messed up in my building what is the best air purifier to get
