  1. Thank you helped a lot I’m deciding whether I get a 2-in-1 detachable or just a regular laptop for games

I have a creative idea I want I draw and animate but I’m not good at it so

I’ll be fine with a regular laptop if that’s okay but this video made me just realize more

How much I rather just use a 2-in1- instead of playing games now with a stylist

It also gave me insight between convertible and detachable.

And then again even if I do get a regular laptop I can still animate nonetheless so yeah.

I hope I make the right choice.

    Thanks

  2. Magnets keep pulling the screws out. I just have a power supply issue now with the slim pin like cheap drones not charging fast enough.

  3. I REALLY am interested in the convertible designs.
The detachable designs seem like a poor choice for longevity ease cost of repair because I bet they are harder to repair because virtually all components are in only the one half, plus they will be top heavy.

  4. I have a doubt can 2 in 1 lap’s like surface book/pro’s can be upgraded with after market parts like asus does…?

  5. @1:03 especially if you are a big man and have big balls and need to spread legs further apart lol 🀣

  6. Hey, What About Ones Where You Have A Touch Screen Laptop, And It Folds Backwards And It Is Basically A Tablet, What You Show Is A Tablet With A Keyboard Accessory. (edit) 1:26 I am So Sorry.

  7. One benefit of using a detachable is that you can mount the screen anywhere you want and still work using a keyboard and mouse.

  8. I just showed this video to a friend who is not tech savvy at all. She wants to replace her laptop with something where she can have a keyboard separate from the screen, because she’s quite tall. This was a great introduction as to options for her.

  9. Whatever you decide on, don’t get a Dell XPS15 2 in 1. My Dell 2 in 1 XPS15 kept giving the message that the memory was not the correct memory. Easy, I thought. I’ll just install the correct memory. NOPE! The memory is soldered to the motherboard. My Β£2,000+ laptop is useless. This, conveniently only happened just after the warranty ran out. Up until then, the laptop started, and worked really fast and as smooth as silk. These people who make these planned obsolescence laptops are unscrupulous. To say I’m angry is a vast understatement. If I ever hear of Dell going bankrupt, I will be partying for days.

  10. @PCMag or anyone else, can you please tell me what laptop is seen at 2:27 ?? I need a 2 in 1 laptop and struggling to decide.

I need high performance(i5 10th gen would be enough I think), decent display,16 gig ram(if 8 it should be expandable), 512 to 1TB storage(if 256, it should be expandable) and touch display with precise pen support.

(I don’t want to build a pc because I want portability and I want a long lasting device…well because who doesn’t)

  11. If i buy the first model would it be possible to connect it to a tv with hdmi cable and then use it

  12. Unfortunately, in convertible laptop/tablets, when the keyboard’s keys stop working (which happens ALL the time), it’s not easy to repair them. Whereas in the 2-in-1 versions, you can just buy a new detachable keyboard and save the tablet! I already have 2 laptops (HP and Toshiba) whose keyboard’s keys stopped working and it’s not because of dust. To replace them is more expensive than to buy a USB keyboard, which is what I did, but that makes them NO more mobile laptops ;-(

  13. Hi,

Β Maybe you can help me. I looking for a 2 in 1 tablet laptop with 500 gb and that has a detachable keyboard 11" like in your video where it snappes on and off. What make and model is the one in the Video also is it 11"? Also what other makes and model 2 in 1 tablet laptops with 500gb and detachable keyboards that snappes off and that are 11" are there? I thought Dell inspiron made a 2 in 1 tablet laptop that was 500gb had a detachable keyboard that snapped of easy. But can’t find it anymore. Write Back Thanks Varian
